It is really a matter of immense pleasure for me to be the principal of Shri Haridasan Mahila Mahavidyalaya, chichal/ Barwa, Taluka- Lakhandur, Dist-Bhandara. The main aim behind the establishment of this Mahila Mahavidyalaya is to give the education to the girls of Rural, backward, naxalite area like chichal/Barwa and its surrounding area so that girls in this area should get all the facilities required and come in the noble track of education and become well educated. This noble work of educating them will make them bold, strong and responsible enough that they can take the responsibility of their families which encourage women empowerment. Specialization in the area of Higher Education the popular demand of today's generation and keeping this in views, the college has started Home science undergraduate B.Sc. degree course to cater to the educational requirements of the girl students of the district.
The college has provided lot of facilities like free education, Scholarships for economically backward students,Free transport services, free college uniform. We have started a lot of carrier oriented, indigenous courses to enable our students to have a bright career and future. Subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Home science give students maximum opportunity to exhibit their scientific skill to pursue higher studies and to do research work.
